Your children are not your children.

Parenting is THE most important job most people will do in our lifetimes, with the longest lasting legacy. Parenting is one of the most challenging jobs we will do. Lucky for us, children are forgiving of their parents, when we make parenting mistakes. Parenting and discipline are about love and connection. Parenting is time. Good parenting is love, time and mutual respect. Parenting is fun. Parenting can be tough, because parenting last a very long time. Parenting can feel like it will never go away. Discipline can be positive. Discipline is about teaching children, not punishing them. Discipline can be executed without crusing their spirit. Have faith, parents! Invest time in your children. Good parenting in the first 11 years pays off when they become tolerable, even enjoyable tweens & teens. Good teenagers are made, not born. Parenting is a process.
